It is with great sadness that we have to announce the sudden passing of our daughter and sister, Jane Carkett on Monday 16th August 2010. Jane was known and loved by many friends, colleagues, pupils and teachers, past and present, of Kingsthorpe Grove Primary School and we will all miss her dearly.

Died peacefully in the wonderful, loving care of Danetre Hospital on Tue 4 May 2010 at the grand age of 95 years, surrounded by his family.
Father of Philip, and now happily reunited with his late wives Clarice and Joyce, and his beloved late daughter, Pam. An inspirational grandfather, much missed by his many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A former Assistant Chief County Education Officer, Bert served Northamptonshire and his family dutifully and with loyalty.
